Soo, shortly after I posted my last deviation, and was working on my next, my little Tangent laptop decided to die… >.> The a/c port is damaged, and that’s weird because the same part was just repaired a couple of months ago. –sigh- I had it repaired for $214, and now the same place is wanting me to pay that same amount once more to fix it again… even though it should be under warranty. I can’t afford that, so now I have two broken laptops (the other one is also a Tangent, an older one) and no way to fix either of them. All of my files are still on the one with the bad a/c port, or else I would probably just chuck it in the trash. Luckily my mom is an IT specialist at the University where the laptop was originally purchased, and she currently has it at her place. She’s going to look at it and /hopefully/ find a way to transfer the files without having to turn it on. I think I’d die if I lost all those files…. Every single word document I’ve ever written since like 2005, every piece of digital art work I’ve ever created (including their psd. Files), and hundreds of pictures. So yeah, I’m a little stressed right now xD

My only access to the internet is my iPod touch, and even though I’m grateful I actually /have/ a way to get online, it’s definitely not ideal. Most sites are slow to load (I can hardly get on dA, it takes about five minutes to load one page..), it’s a pain to have to zoom in and zoom out constantly, the tiny keyboard drives me nuts, and of course, no drawing ;_____; That’s been the hardest part of it all. My tablet is sitting in my living room collecting dust and I just keep picturing that last drawing I was working on xDDD It was actually an updated picture of my Neonar stallion, Findarato, since the old one hurts my eyes >.< Once that was finished, I was going to add him to my HARPG, but the whole thing has now been put on hold indefinitely. I had been excited to become more active in the HARPG as well, but there’s not much I can do without a functioning computer. I’d really just like a nice desktop PC, I’ve become quite tired of laptops for the purpose of artwork. I’ve always used a rather crude set-up, having ‘set up shop’ in my recliner in front of the t.v. Ever since I’ve had my tablet I’ve operated like that, usually putting my laptop on a chair or something similar in front of the recliner while holding the tablet in my lap. Sometimes I would even put the legs of the recliner up, set the laptop somewhere near my knees, and work with the tablet on the arm rest –shame- I actually have a nice desk that I had in my room throughout highschool, it’s in the guest room at the townhouse now. I can imagine setting up a desktop computer there, if only I could afford one :_( I don’t forsee myself being able to afford one any time soon, either

I’m currently using a computer at the University to get online. I accompanied my mom to work today so I could borrow her car for an appointment. So I get a good chunk of the day to catch up with all my online stuff ^^ -considers smuggling computer out in her bag- Heh
